In boderline leprosy, lesions are characteristically erythematous, raised plaques with central clearing and sloping edge (inveed saucer appearence). Lesions are multiple, hypoaesthetic and are distributed asymmetrically. Patients also develop asymmetrically thickened several nerves and is Type 1 leprae reaction positive.
