Hypercalcemia (not hypocalcemia) decreases MAC. Factor's decreasing MAC :- Old age, acute alcohol intake, hypothermia, hyperthermia, hypercalcemia, hyponatermia, hypermagnesemia, Hypoxia, Hypercarbia, Anemia, Pregnancy, drugs. Factors increasing MAC :-Young age, chronic alcohol intake, hypematremia, Drugs.
