Bailey & Love, 25th/1138.)PSEUDOCYST OF PANCREAS# A pseudocyst of pancreas is a collection of pancreatic juice enclosed in a wall of fibrous or granulomatous tissue that is usually located in lesser sac region and follows an attack of acute pancreatitis/trauma.# It is not lined by epithelium in contrast to true pancreatic cyst.# A pseudocyst with wall thickness more than 5 mm or size more than 6 cm is a mature pseudocyst and surgical treatment (cystogastrostomy) is indicated.
