* The principles of therapy in children with tuberculosis are similar to that of adults . Medications used for treatment are Isoniazid , Rifampicin , Streptomycin, Ethambutol , Pyrazinqmide, Ethionamide, Cycloserine . *Sho course therapy with duration of 6 months is now standard practice *In Anti tubercular therapy ,streptomycin and ethambutol are first line drugs .
