Symptoms of vitamin E deficiency develops several years after the onset of deficiency. These patients can develop spinocerebellar ataxia, polyneuropathy, posterior column dysfunction, polyneuropathy, ophthalmoplegia, pigmented retinopathy, night blindness, dysahria, pseudoathetosis, dystonia, hemolytic anemia and tremors.
