Suspended animation (apparent death) - In this condition signs of life are not found, as they are interrupted temporarily or are reduced to a minimum. The causes include drowning, electrocution, cholera, anesthesia, shock, cerebral concussion, insanity etc. Here the patient can be resuscitated.
