Pulmonary disease is one of the most frequent complications of HIV infection. The M/C manifestation of pulmonary disease is Pneumonia. Most common AIDS- defining illnesses are :- Recurrent bacterial pneumonia, Tuberculosis, and Pneumonia due to the unicellular fungus P.jiroveci.
