Rheumatoid ahritis produces an exudative pleural effusion with predominant lymphocytes,positive rheumatoid factor and anti-CCP antibodies,and very low glucose in pleural . Pleural involvement is the most frequent manifestation of rheumatoid ahritis (RA) in the chest.
