The RCH phase 1 was launched in 1997 and phase 2 in 2005 which was extended till 2012. thereafter 2013 with expanded strategy in conjunction with NRHM, it was renamed as Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, child & Adolescent Health (RMNCH-A) RCH 1 included maternal components, child component, family planning and sexually transmitted infections prevention and control in some selected districts.
