Acrodermatitis enteropathica is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by an inability to absorb sufficient zinc from diet. The cutaneous eruption consists of vesicio-bullous, eczematous, dry scaly or psoriasisiform skin lesions symmetrically distributed in body.
