High-Yield Explanation
Marbling of skin: Blood vessels provide an impoant route through which the bacteria can spread with ease throughout the body. Bacteria involved are streptococcus, staphylococcus, Diphtheroids, Clostridium welchi, and Proteus. The bacteria produce hydrogen sulphide as decomposition gas. Hemoglobin will be conveed to methemoglobin and hydrogen sulphide will combine with methemoglobin to form sulphmethemoglobin. Superficial vessels stained greenish due to sulphmethemoglobin. This may be usually seen by about 36 hours. Ref: FORENSIC MEDICINE AND TOXICOLOGY DR PC IGNATIUS THIRD EDITION PAGE 32
