Functions of Female health worker
1. Maternal and child health.
Ensure at least 3 antenatal checkups for pregnant women.
Test urine of pregnant women for albumin, and estimate hemoglobin level.

7. Communicable diseases
Give ORS to all cases of diarrhea, dysentery/vomiting.
Helps identification & treatment of filariasis, where it is endemic.
8. Vital events
i) Record & Report vital events (birth, death).
9. Records keeping
i) Register : -
Pregnant women from 3 months onward.
Infants (0-1 year)
Women aged 15 to 44 year.
