Treatment of simple Endometrial hyperplasia with atypia in a 48 year old woman:-

The incidence of endometrial cancers with Simple hyperplasia with out Atypia is 1% Complex hyperplasia with out Atypia 3% Simple hyperplasia with Atypia 8% Complex hyperplasia with Atypia 29% Treatment Endometrial hyperplasia without atypia : Progesterone therapy should be given, even if the risk of malignancy is less Endometrial hyperplasia with atypia : Total hysterectomy. Here the patient is perimenopausal with an 8 % chance of developing cancer, therefore it is advisable for patient to undergo hysterectomy.
