Corneal hysteresis assesses the biomechanical strength of the cornea and is assessed by Dynamic Contour Tonometry(DCT). Dynamic contour tonometry (DCT) is a contin- uous (dynamic) and direct tonometric principle. It reads the IOP at the interface between the sensitive tonometer tip and the surface of the cornea.
