Treatment of choice for fracture shaft femur in a 4 years old child

*0-2 years : skin traction - gallow&;s traction / Bryant&;s traction * 2-10 years : most femoral fracture is seen in this group .here split Russell traction is useful *10-15 years : 90-90degfemoral skeletal traction or hip spica or both * adults - traction : skin/skeletal & cast bracing Surgery - intramedullary nails can be used for fracture 2.5cm below the lesser trochanter to that 8-10cm above knee joint .it can be done immediately or delayed.
