Fordyce spots most commonly involve the lips They are nothing but heterotopic sebaceous glands i.e. not associated with hair follicles They are asymptomatic but visible. Sebaceous Glands: Sebaceous Glands are lipid- producing glads that arise from hair follicle at the junction of infundibulum and isthmus. They are associated with hair follicle and termed as Pilosebaceous unit.
