Pituitary hormones, the hormones of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland controlled by hypothalamic releasing factors; they include growth hormone (somatotropin) prolactin, thyroid-luteinizing hormone, adrenocoicotropic hormone, and melanocyte-stimulating hormone.
