Saturnine gout Lead (Pg) decreases renal excretion of uric acid - increase Uric acid in blood (hyperuricemia) -Gout Chronic Poisoning (Plumbism, Saturnism or saturnine poisoning) Manifestation of Chronic Lead Poisoning or Plumbism are often remembered with the classical mnemonic.
