Second most common adverse effect is methemoglobinemia. Other side effects are - Nausea, anorexia, headache, paresthesia, drug fever, mental symptoms, rashes, fixed drug eruption, hypermelanosis (Pigmentation), phototoxicity, exfoliative dermatitis, hepatitis, agranulocytosis, lepra reaction and sulfone syndrome, infectious mononucleosis like syndrome.
