It gives following branches:-Cervical branches Spinal branches, muscular branches (to suboccipital muscle).Cranial branches Posterior inferior cerebellar artery, medullary artery, meningeal branches, anterior spinal artery, posterior spinal artery and both vertebral arteries unite to form basilar artery.
