Wilson and Blair's brilliant-green bismuth sulfite agar (WBBS) -Best selective and indicator medium used for the isolation of Salmonella species. Bismuth sulfite, brilliant green - inhibitors- hinder the growth of most bacteria while allowing salmonella to grow.
