Features of RNTCPA/E:

Ans. is 'b' i.e. included in NRHM in 2005 RNTCP is not included in NRHM. o Under the RNTCP active case finding is not pursued. Case finding is passive. o Dots agents are Teachers, anganwadi workers, dais, ex-patients, social workers etc. o The RNTCP-Designated microscopy centres in each district are the peripheral laboratories. A Designated Microscopy Centre is established for approximately 100,000 population (50,000 in tribal and mountanious areas). o Achievement of at least 15% cure rate is a salient feature of RNTCP.
