Other drugs : If treatment with SSRIs or clomipramine fails, addition of valproate or carbamazepine or lithium may augment the effect of SSRIs or clomipramine. Other drugs that can be tried in the treatment of OCD are venlafaxine, pindolol, MAOIs (phenelzine), clonazepam, buspirone.
