Diaphragm: Is the BEST CHOICE in a 37 yr well educated woman. Diaphragm : It is a temporary method. Is immediately reversible. Requires a educated motivated woman. Is not associated with excess bleeding, PID. (unlike IUCDs) Gives additional protection against HIV/STIs. OCPs (Mala - N, Mala - D): Must preferably be used for spacing in younger women. Women above 35 years must go for other forms of contraception. Definitely not prescribed / used beyond 40 years age. IUCD: can also be used in the given situation .
