Nerve supply of Pharynx: Motor:  All the pharyngeal muscles are supplied by the cranial root of accessory nerve (via pharyngeal branch of vagus and pharyngeal plexus), except the stylopharyngeus which is supplied by the glossopharyngeal nerve. Sensory: Nasopharynx, by pharyngeal branch of the pterygopalatine ganglion carrying fibres from maxillary division of the trigeminal nerve. Oropharynx, by glossopharyngeal nerve.
