Factors associated with gallbladder Ca

Calcification of gallbladder&;s associated with cancer in 10-25% cases.90% of gallbladder carcinoma&;s associated with gallstones. Risk of developing carcinoma in gallstone disease is 7-10 times more than the general population.Relative risk is less if stone size is less than 2 cm; if stone size is 2-3 cm, it is 2.5; it is 10 or more if stone size is more than 3 cm.
