High-Yield Explanation
Endoplasmic reticulum is a better answer than Golgi apparatus. To maximize transpo efficiency, the mature sperm has no ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum, or Golgi apparatus. Golgi apparatus are present in spermatids but during the process of spermiogenesis, it gets conveed into a cap-like structure, acrosome over the anterior half of the head. Acrosome contains Lysosomal enzymes.
