Features of epidermolysis bullosa –

Epidermolysis bullosa is a group of inherited bullous disorder. Epidermolysis bullosa is due to defect in anchoring complex (keratin - containing intermediate filaments and collegen type VII) that attaches basement membrane to epidermal hemidesmosomes (by keratin containing intermediate filament) and to dermis (by collegen type VII).
