Which type of senile cataract is notorious for glaucoma formation –

Both intumescent cataract and hypermature morgagnion cataract can cause glaucoma, although by different mechanism. Intumescent cataract → causes phacomorphic glaucoma due to swelling of lens. Hypermature morgagnion cataract → Phacolytic glaucoma due to leakage of soluble lens protein. However, phacomorphic glaucoma is the most common type of lens-induced glaucoma (50-70%). Therefore, best answer here is intumescent cataract.
