Which of the following nerve innervation is present on ureters which aids in ureteric peristalsis for passage of urine?

The inferior poions of the ureter and urinary bladder receive innervation from the vesical and prostatic plexuses (extensions of the inferior hypogastric plexus). Parasympathetic innervation is from the S2-S4 spinal cord levels, which enter the inferior hypogastric plexus, as do sacral splanchnic nerves for sympathetic innervation. The inferior hypogastric plexus then gives rise to the vesical and prostatic plexuses, which innervate the ureter and urinary bladder. Autonomic nerves are not essential for ureteric peristalsis, but exe a modifying influence on it. It is mainly sensory in function. There are no ganglion cells in or on the ureter.
