This pathway is occurring in which cell of the body:

A
RBCs
B
Liver
C
Muscles
D
Brain
High-Yield Explanation
This is RL shunt i.e. Rapapo Leubering shunt/ cycle. This occurs only in RBCs, for the production of 2, 3 bisphosphoglycerate.(2,3 BPG) This compound is required in RBCs to release oxygen from HbA at tissue level. In RL shunt, substrate level phosphorylation(SLP) step by phosphoglycerate kinase enzyme does not occur. Net gain of ATP in RL shunt is zero.
