Here I would like to tell you that, all these questions on open fracture management are based on older principles when - Wound was left open in every case (even if wound is not contaminated). Stabilization of fracture was done by external fixator (not internal fixation). So, the answer of this question was compound fracture. But, now the management principles have changed, which I have already explained therefore, most of these question have more than one answers according to recent principles. However, you just remember recent principles because, now the question will be asked on recent principles.
