Duodenal atresia:occurs at the point of fusion between foregut and midgut .Diagnosis can be made antenatally charecteristic double bubble apperance in ultrasonography.the child vomits at bih and it is bile stained.(35% of all atresia). Jejunal atresia(15%of all atresia):early distension is lacking,but vomiting occurs early.Apple peel atresia with loss of symmetry is seen.
