What is the maximum amount of compensation that can be granted by the state commission under the Consumer's Protection Act?

A complaint against the medical profession can be filed in the consumer cou. These cous can only give compensation. The monetary limits of the compensation that can be granted by the consumer cous are as follows: (a) District Consumer Cou- upto Rs. 20 lacs (b) State Commission- Rs. 20 lacs to Rs. 1 crore; and (c) National Commission - above Rs. 1crore.
