Maxillary aery: Ligation of this aery is done in uncontrollable posterior epistaxis. Approach is Caldwell-Luc operation through pterygopalatine fossa Posterior wall of maxillary sinus is removed and the maxillary aery or its branches are blocked by applying clips.
