All structures pass through foramen ovale EXCEPT:

MALE’ structures pass through foramen ovale: Mandibular division of trigeminal nerve, Accessory meningeal artery, Lesser petrosal nerve, Emissary vein.  Middle meningeal artery passes through foramen spinosum, along with nervus spinosus (branch of mandibular nerve).
