All of the following muscles are supplied by recurrent laryngeal nerve except:

Nerve Supply of muscles of larynx: Motor Nerves Recurrent laryngeal nerve supplies posterior cricoarytenoid, lateral cricoarytenoid, transverse and oblique arytenoid, aryepiglottic, thyroarytenoid, thyroepiglottic muscles.  It supplies all intrinsic muscles except cricothyroid. External laryngeal nerve only supplies the cricothyroid muscle. Sensory Nerves The internal laryngeal nerve supplies the mucous membrane up to the level of the vocal folds.  The recurrent laryngeal nerve supplies it below the level of the vocal folds. Key Concept:  Cricothyroid is supplied by external laryngeal branch of superior laryngeal nerve.
