Antipsychotic drug available as a depot preparation:

B i.e. Fluphenazine decanoate- Long acting intramuscular (IM) depot preparations of antipsychotics include: fluphenazine decanoate, fluphenazine enanthate, flupentixol decanoate, haloperidol decanoate, olanzapine pamoate, pipotiazine palmitate, resperidone consta (need refrigeration; delayed by 2-3 weeks onset); and Zulcopenthixol decanoate.- IM depot preparations are typically given once every 1 to 4 weeks. The preparations are injected into an area of large muscle tissue from which they are absorbed slowly into the blood Decanoate peparations can be given less frequently than enanthate preparations because they are absorbed more slowly.- Penfluridol is considered oral depot antipychotic drug.- Imipramine pamoate (Tofranil) is a depot form of drug for intramuscular (IM) administration.
