Congenitla unilateral cataract ivolving visual axis requires urgent surgery, as early as possible, i.e. within days. Congenital bilateral cataract i) Dense:- Early surgery by 4-6 weeks of age. ii) Paial:- Regular followup. Congenital unilateral cataract i) Dense or involving visual axis:- Urgent surgery within days. ii) Paial:- Observation.
