If physician treats a person who has attempted to commit suicide, he is 1101 legally bound to report; but if person dies he has to inform the police. A doctor who is legally bound to inform nearest magistrate or police officer in cases of dacoity, waging war against the lawful Government, helping escape of prisoners etc.
