Cholinergic crisis usually occur during treatment of patients with myasthenia gravis, from the excess dose of anticholinesterase drugs. Symptoms of cholinergic excess such as salivation, sweating, GI distress, bradycardia and constricted pupil occur occur at the time of peak effect of the drug.
