Terminal disinfection is now scarcely practiced; terminal cleaning is considered adequate, alongwith airing and sunning of rooms, furnitures.c) Precurrent or prophylactic disinfection- Disinfection of water by chlorine, pasteurization of milk and hand washing are examples.
