Colles fracture is the fracture of distal fragment of radius at its coico cancellous junction.,in adults, with typical displacement. Its common in people above 40 years. It is due to fall on outstretched hands. Complications of Colles fracture are 1.Stiffness of joints- finger stiffness is the commonest complication. the shoulder, wrist and elbow are other joints which get stiff.
