I have already discussed dysgerminoma in detail in question no. 2, here I would like to point out about the spread of dysgerminoma. Most common mode of spread - Lymphatics. Can also spread by - Blood or Direct spread. Metastatic sites : Ovary (Thus dysgerminoma is another tumour besides granulosa cell tumour which shows metastasis to opposite ovary) Lower veebrae Lungs, liver and brain Mediastinum and supraclavicular lymph nodes Dysgerminoma is the most radiosensitive tumour but radiotherapy is not the TOC as feility is impaired by Radiotherapy Treatment of Choice is Surgery. For recurrent tumour : Chemotherapy .A.fith REP i.e. bleomycin. etoposide and cisplatin.deg
