The given thyroid scan is showing increased focal uptake in the Rt upper lobe of thyroid & decreased uptake in the rest of the thyroid gland, this is suggestive of hypersecreting thyroid adenoma. There is no ectopic thyroid tissue, so lateral aberrant thyroid & lateral extension is ruled out. Malignancy ruled out as there is no cold nodule.
