Aqueous drains through all of the following routes except:

A
Trabecular meshwork
B
Uveoscleral outflow
C
Iris
D
Sclera
High-Yield Explanation
Aqueous drainage does not occur through sclera. Aqueous drainage occurs following routes: Trabecular meshwork (90 %): Aqueous flows through trabeculum into Schlemn canal & then episcleral veins. Uveoscleral outflow (10 %). Iris - Minor. - Normal out flow facility of aqueous 'C' = 0.22 uL/min/mm of Hg(0.22-0.28 uL/min/mmHg.) - Drainage depends on IOP. EXTRA EDGE: - Aqueous humor is produced by Non-pigmented epithelium of Pars plicata at rate of 2.5 uL/min - Its production slows down during sleeping & increases in early morning.
