Anhidrosis(absence of sweating)is the contraindication ,because hyperhidrosis is the indication of the sympathectomy.other ibdications include cervical rib with vascular manifestations,raynaud's phenomenon,causalgia,sudeck's osteodystrophy,upper limb vasospasam due to other causes etc....
