Round ligament They are paired, one on each side, measures about 10-12 cm It is attached to cornu of the uterus below and in front of fallopian tube It courses beneath the anterior leaf of the broad ligament to reach the internal abdominal ring It contains connective tissue During its course, it runs anterior to the obturator aery and lateral to the inferior epigastric aery It corresponds to gubernaculum testis developmentally and is morphologically continuous with the ovarian ligament Ref: D.C.
