Rotavirus vaccine doses should not be initiated beyond which age to prevent complications:

Two live attenuated oral rotavirus vaccines have been licensed for use rotateq and rotarix. The first dose of these vaccines should be given no later than 12 weeks. In case of rotarix, vaccination must be completed by 24 weeks. In case of rotate, last dose of vaccine should be administered by 32 weeks. Risk of intussusceptions increase if first dose is administered beyond 12 weeks. Ref: Park 21st edition, page 205.
