FRACTURE OF THE CLAVICLE: The junction of the middle and outer-third of the clavicle is the commonest site; the other common site being the outer-third of the clavicle. This fracture is usually displaced. The outer fragment displaces medially and downwards because of the gravity and pull by the pectoralis major muscle attached toit.
